APPLICATION PERIOD OPEN FOR ERASMUS+ 2017-18 GRANTS

These Erasmus + 2017 grants are for BELE students to do job practices in professional workshops accross Europe. These financed mobilities have a duration of three months and will be carried out between September 2017 and December 2018.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THIS GRANT?

Any BELE student who is currently attending 3rd year.
Any BELE alumnus who has finished vilon making studies during 2016-2017.

Approved ERASMUS+ grants for 2017-18

The Spanish Service For Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) has approved the grant applications submitted by BELE for the 2017-18 academic year.

These are four job training scholarships for students, allowing them subsidized job practices in diverse workshops in Europe, such as Italy, France and UK .

Application period extended to the 6th of June

Application period goes from 24th of april to 25th of May, both included.

The course is divided in three years and based on five main subjects, Building the instruments of the string quartet, Restoration and repair techniques , Bow maintenance and repair, Acoustics and Work and business studies.
Our studies include work practices in workshops of different luthiers and possibility to apply to the European Erasmus + grant program.

Set up and Sound Adjustment workshop with Andrea Ortona

Past 6th to 12th of March we did the Set up and Sound Adjustment workshop with Andrea Ortona. Andrea nowadays works at J&A Beares as a restorer and also works in his Oxford workshop making violins.

During the week the BELE students learnt about, materials, shapes, vibrating modes and sound.
